What can the Nurses see during phase 3 of the pandemic?
Face to face:
- Smears
- Childhood immunisations
- Dressings/wound care/stitch removal
- Travel vaccines (please get forms in at least 6 weeks before intended travel)
- B12 injections (if a discussion has been had with the GP that it is necessary)
- Pessary rings (with Nurse Caroline)
- Diabetic annual review-after discussion over the phone with Dr Sharma/GP first-Flu vaccines/shingles and pneumonia vaccines- September onward
- Depo injections
- Contraceptive pill checks
- ECG if deemed urgent- routine will be referred to community cardiology
- (NEW) Ear microsuction

Orsett surgery has daily nurse consultations, along with some evening clinics.
King Edward Drive has a nurse consultations each Tuesday.
