What can the Nurses see during phase 3 of the pandemic?

Face to face:

  • Smears
  • Childhood immunisations
  • Dressings/wound care/stitch removal
  • Travel vaccines (please get forms in at least 6 weeks before intended travel)
  • B12 injections (if a discussion has been had with the GP that it is necessary)
  • Pessary rings (with Nurse Caroline)
  • Diabetic annual review-after discussion over the phone with Dr Sharma/GP first-Flu vaccines/shingles and pneumonia vaccines- September onward
  • Depo injections
  • Contraceptive pill checks
  • ECG if deemed urgent- routine will be referred to community cardiology
  • (NEW) Ear microsuction

Orsett surgery has daily nurse consultations, along with some evening clinics.

King Edward Drive has a nurse consultations each Tuesday.

Please tell the receptionist your reason when booking the nurse to ensure we are fully prepared for your needs.
